  • Romanian state-owned thermo-energy producer Complexul Energetic Craiova will invest €115 million in modernising projects that ensure its compliance with environmental standards. The works are set to be finalised by late 2012.
  • Romanian Ministry of Culture will invest €40 million in reconditioning the Bucharest National Theatre.
  • French logistics operator FM Logistics will invest €10 million in the construction of three warehouses on a 20,000 m2 plot of land in Petresti, Dambovita County, which are set for completion in May 2011.
  • Romanian construction materials producer Arcon will invest over €8 million in a new polystyrene production line and in modernising the existing one, doubling the production capacity of its factory in Sfantu Gheorghe, Covasna County to 900,000 m2.
  • US-based pork producer and processor Smithfield invested an estimated €2.7 million in modernising the pork refrigeration section of its factory in Timisoara, Timis County.
