• French logistics firm FM Logistics will invest an estimated €100 million over the next 4-5 years in developing their second logistics park in Petresti, Dambovita County. The storage units will have a total estimated surface of 110,000 m². 

   German discount retailer Kaufland invested an estimated €36 million in opening four new stores in Botosani and Mioveni in Arges County; Medias in Sibiu County; and Reghin in Mures County, thus reaching a total of 49 stores in Romania.

• South Korean Samsung distributor Shinheung will invest €20 million in the construction of a production unit located within the Eurobusiness Parc Oradea industrial park where they are set to begin production in July.
• Romanian wine producer Cotnari will invest €4.5 million in 2010 in planting 300 ha of vineyards, bringing their total to 2,010 ha of cultivated land. They will also invest €580,000 in acquiring tractors and agricultural equipment.

• German publishing group EuroDruckServices will invest €2 million in 2010 in acquiring finishing equipment for its printing house located in Ghimbav, Brasov County. 

• Romanian logging and lumber processing equipment manufacturer Irum Reghin will invest an estimated €2 million in 2010 in modernising the logging equipment assembly line and its chemical treatments workshop.

•  German discount retailer Plus, part of LIDL Group, invested €1.5 million in opening the 97^th store in its Romanian network in Rosiorii de Vede, Teleorman County.

•  Romanian energy efficiency specialists Q-Power, part of RTC Holdings, invested €1.5 million in opening a production centre in Sibiu.

•  Romanian restaurant and café operator Trotter Prim will invest €1.4 million in 2010 in opening two new restaurants and two new City Café locations in Bucharest.

•  Swedish paint manufacturer Fabryo invested an estimated €950,000 in acquiring and distributing paint colouring equipment.

•  Romanian medical services operator Medicard invested €700,000 in the construction of a cardiology clinic in Buzau.

•  Romanian private medical services provider Medlife invested an estimated €500,000 in a new gastroenterology centre.
