Moving to Baneasa – Aviatiei – What’s it like to live here?

Baneasa, is in District 1 in North Bucharest, near by Baneasa Lake and bordered by Baneasa Forest. Baneasa has the Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, used mainly by private jets; also there is Baneasa Zoo where you can find numerous animal species

In the 2000s, the area has become increasingly up market, due to the construction of various luxury apartment developments in and around and opening Baneasa Shopping City. Here you can find a lots of fashion stores, furniture stores like Mobexpert or Ikea and supermarkets like Carrefour and Mega Image. It is also home to many villas constructed after 1990.

There are many residential complexes in the heart of the Baneasa forest like Greenfield Residence and Stejarii Residence.

Băneasa is linked by bus or tram lines to the Bucharest city center. There is currently a proposal to construct an extension of the Bucharest metro to serve this district.

Aviatiei  it is a small district nearby Baneasa built after 1980, consisting of blocks 3 and 4 floors with fairly small apartments but elegant. In recent years most of the blocks were rehabilitated that gives a new face to neighborhood.

In recent years in the area appeared numerous office buildings, banks or multinational companies, Promenada Mall but also the tallest office building in Romania – Sky Tower changing area into a modern and highly sought for the offices

  • In apropierea zonei de birouri din Aviatiei – Pipera.
  • Acces usor catre centrul orasului prin bulevarde largi.

Baneasa este un cartier in sectorul 1 din Nordul Bucurestiului, langa Lacul Baneasa marginit de Padurea Baneasa. In apropiere este Aeroportul International Aurel Vlaicu operat in cea mai mare parte de  avioane private, de asemenea in zona se afla si Gradina Zoologica Baneasa unde sunt numeroase specii de animale.

Inca din anii 2000 zona a inflorit din punct de vedere imobiliar datorita constructiei de apartamente si vile de lux dar si a deschiderii Baneasa Shopping City unde se gasesc multe magazine de moda sau de mobila ca de exemplu Mobexpert si Ikea dar si supermaketuri Carrefour sau Mega Image. In zona se mai afla si vile construite dupa anii 1990.

Au aparut multe cartiere rezidentiale de blocuri sau vile chiar in inima padurii din care amintim Greenfield Residence sau Stejarii Residence.

Baneasa are legatura directa cu centrul orasului prin autobuze sau tramvaie dar este in proiect si construirea unei linii de metrou.

Aviatiei este mic cartier adiacent cartierului Baneasa construit dupa 1980, care este format in mare parte din blocuri de 3 sau 4 etaje cu apartamente relativ reduse ca suprafata dar elegante. In ultimii majoritatea blocurilor au fost reabilitate termic ceea ce ofera cartierului o noua fata.

In ultimii ani in zona au aparut numeroase cladiri de birouri, sedii de banci sau de multinationale, Promenada Mall dar si cea mai inalta cladire de birouri din Romania schimband total zona intr-una moderna si foarte cautata pentru sectorul office.
